Kasargod: A govt bus and a truck carrying goods met with an accident on Monday evening . The incident took place on NH 66 near Pervadi in Kumble,where a Kerala goverment bus plying from Kasargod to Mangalore collided with the truck.More than 25 people are said to be injured .
Both the drivers are injured severly and have been admitted. The truck driver is identified as Amul, who hails from Maharashtra is admitted in a hospital at Mangalore , while the bus driver Ramachandra Pille from Chengala is admitted to a government hospital in Kumble.
Vaishnavi, Prabhavathi from Mangalpady, Smitha from Paivali are admitted in a hoapital at Kasargod. Amar Singh, Pratap, Sheena, Ramesh, Suhara, Ananda, Ashraf, Abdul Rehman, Nafeeza, and Shreeshan suffered minor injuries and had received treatment at a hospital in Kumble.
Kumble police have registered a case.
