Bangalore: Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Mutalik urged the state government not to release Abdul Nasir Madani,the accused in serial blasts whic took place in the metro.
Mutalik met CM Siddaramaiah and presented a memorandum to the latter, urging him not to release Madani at any circumstance.
Mutalik said that Madani was brought to Bangalore from Kerala by a team of policemen risking their lives. Therefore, at this circumstance, Madani should not be let in a move to please a section of society, said Mutalik.
Mutalik further said that Kerala CM Ommen Chandi is trying to pressurize the state government seeking release of Madani. He urged the CM Siddaramaiah not to protect the accused who was involved in subversive activities in Karnataka.
Mutalik urged the state government not to release Madani citing health concern that can be addressed in the hospitals in Karnataka.
CM Siddaramaiah offered assurances of not to interfere in Madanis case that is dealt in court and law and order is tops in his agenda, said Mutalik.
