Beltangady : “That Modi has finally revealed his marital status in his nomination papers for LS elections proves that the BJP is desperate,” said B Janardhana Poojary, senior Congress leader and party candidate from Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency.

He was speaking to reporters  during the course of his campaigning in Madanthyar on Friday, April 11. Poojari further contended that  finally he has been proved right  as he has been since long been criticizing Modi for not declaring his marital status.

“It has now been proved that Modi was lying until now about his marital status,” Poojari said and one again questioned how a man who could not look after his family can take care of the nation.

The Congress leader further said his claims that Modi was lying was not believed  by many all these days and  added his statement has now come true.

Poojary was also critical of Modi for  not disclosing his wife’s assets in the affidavit. He  further made a mockery of Modi by stating that women of the nation may have to face a situation like that of his wife in case the BJP comes to power.He termed as a blatant lie  the claims of  BJP and Modi that Gujarat has developed. He also urged people not to   believe in the Gujarat model of development.
