Mangalore : As part of  International Women’s day on March 8, BJP PM Candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will be  interacting with a cross section of women from across the nation and globe  as part of his Chai Pe Charcha programme.

This was informed to reporters at a press meet at the District BJP office here on March 6, Thursday by Pulasya Rai, State Secretary of BJP Mahila Morcha. She said this would be the second round of Chai Pe Charcha after the success of the first round across 82 centres in the nation on February 12.

She said the  second Chai Pe Charcha will be held across 110 centres  in the state from 4 pm to 6.30 pm on March 8 and will discuss a wide range of subjects revolving around women’s empowerment.

Around 150 to 200 women are expected to interact with Modi during the Charcha in the presence of local women leaders, achieves and special invitees. Videos depicting the developmental works of Modi will be screened on the occasion. She said the participants can interact with Modi on problems of women and women’s safety.

Sulochana Bhat, Pushpalatha Gatti and other Mahila Morcha leaders were present.
