Mangalore: Manipal college students have invented a new bike called ‘Mon-Star’ for the disabled people.

MIT students of eighth semister Prakhyath Raj, Syed Abdul Tavad, Satyam, Apur Prem invented this bike in three months.

Detailing about the bike, Prakhyath Raj said that it gives a mileage of 2.6 litre petrol to travel from Manipal to Mangalore.

Moreover, Hayabhusa wheel has been used at the front and Skoda Laura’s wheel has been used at its back wheel.

The bike has been designed with the three wheels, with a 1000cc engine and runs over 140 km an hour.
