Moodbidri : In a shocking case reported from  Moodbidri, unidentified miscreants have thrown  spice curry at the Hanumantha Gudi located in the premises of Guru Kalikamba Temple at Achari Keri (Akkasaliga Keri), near Jainapete here. The incident came to light when the priest entered the  temple for the pooja on Thursday June 5 morning.

As usual the priest Rakshith offered pooja at the Gurukalikamba Temple at 7.30 am and then entered the Hanumantha Gudi when he noticed the act of miscreants. It is learnt, the masala curry was thrown through the  small doors of the Gudi which resembles a window.

Curry was splattered over the idol of Hanuman, pooja materials, the wall of the Gudi and around the Gudi. Plastic sachet in which the miscreants supposedly brought the curry was also found nearby.

Moodbidri Circle Inspector Anantha Padmanabha   has arrived at the spot and is conducting investigation. Several people associated with the temple have strongly condemned the incident.
