Mangalore: 8 fishermen were rescued as their fishing boat “Nimmi Kalyani” owned by Mrs.Jayashree Mohan Mendon was capsized at the river mouth of Mangalore Old Port today at 1pm. 
They were rescued by another fishing vessel “Sagar Kusum”. The rescued fisheremen are Purusottama (Bhatkal) 48yrs, Sethu (Tamil Nadu) 25yrs, Thimmappa (Bhatkal) 33yrs, Bhagesh (Bhatkal)19yrs, Ramdas (Koppamogeru) 30yrs, Mohan (Batkal) 26yrs and Mohan Shirali(Bhatkal) 22 yrs.
