Writer-Director Sandeep Malani’s latest venture ‘Maa’ is a Hindi film with lots of English dialogues too. The film is a family entertainer which according to Malani has all the ingredients for a commercial success. This musical has emotions, fun, romance, comedy, sad and happy moments. The film has many sub plots that go with the main story line.

Keeping in trend with the taste of audience of all genres, the film has festive moments, birthday celebrations, page 3 party sequences, wedding and also gives a retro feel.

This 120 minute (2 hours) film will be released at a few private screenings and will have premiere shows at Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Bihar, whereas the cut 50 minutes version will be sent to various film festivals. A full version with extra shots of the film will be released as an episode on weekly basis through web series, which can reach throughout the world simultaneously.

The film with an ensemble cast includes Meena Malani, Ranjeet Jha, Bharath Laxmikanth, Sanjukta Ghosh, Shivam Kataria, Amruta Pore, Mahendra Pandey, Sharanya Kaur, Akash Hora, Shona Chabbra, Anant Vijay Joshi, Vivek Mishra, Vivek Punjabi, Velu Murugan, Canyut Fernandes, Valerian Menezes, Thirumalesh & Deepali Khambadkone amongst many others.

Music by Karthik Venkatesh and edited by Santosh R Chawla, the film is produced by Ranjeet Jha. It has script, screenplay and is directed by Sandeep Malani. It’s made under the banner of RKJ Production in association with Malani Talkies and Studio Agency.

The film is now almost complete and is in its post production stages and going with the forthcoming festive mood, Malani plans to release it on Diwali.
