Ullal: A 28-year-old man miraculously survived after a lorry hit his bike near Thokkottu junction here on Monday, May 9.
The accident occured when Adarsh from Chembugudde who was on his way to Chembugudde from Thokkottu was run over by a speeding lorry while taking a turn near the junction. Adarsh jumped from the bike the moment lorry hit his bike and miraculously escaped unhurt. The bike which came under the wheels of the lorry is completely damaged in the accident.

According to the locals, the carelessness of the lorry driver said to be the reason behind the mishap. The way the bike rider escaped unhurt was in a filmy style. Due to the incident, vehicular movement was disrupted for some time.

Ullal police who rushed to the spot cleared the road with the help of the locals.
