Mangaluru: A man was killed in a road mishap near Moti Mahal in the afternoon here on Wednesday, July 6.

The deceased has been identified as Sarfraz (34) hailing from Goa. He was married to a girl from Mangaluru. 

The accident occured near Moti Mahal when a speeding private bus rammed into Sarfraz’s bike from the rear. He was killed on the spot. However, he was shifted to Wenlock Hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. 

When the public gathered and tried to manhandle the bus driver, the traffic police present there intervened and brought the situation under control.
