Mangalore :M.R.Vasudeva, AAP DK candidate for the forthcoming Lok Sabha election, will participate in “A Debate on Democracy” jointly organized by the Dept of Political Science and the Political Science Association of Mangalore University. This programme is slated for the 7th of April, 2014, from 3 PM To 6 PM in the Mangala Auditorium of Mangalore University.

“In the light of the forthcoming elections of 2014, the objective of this endevour is to bring all the contestants across party lines under one roof in order to engage with them in a constructive and purposeful debate.” said  Prof. Rajaram Tolpadi, Chairman, Dept. of Political Science, Mangalore University in a press release.

“It is hoped that Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel and Shri  Janardhana Poojary will be participating  at this timely event at Namma Mangalore University.” said M.R. Vasudewa. “They have been noticeably absent in numerous forums I have participated in.” he added.

“Both Shri Kateel and Shri Poojary have ducked televised debates conducted by prominent local TV Channels and sent surrogates instead. Times have changed and so have citizen’s expectation. It is hoped that they won’t repeat this “no-show” at the debate organized by the prominent educational institution in our District. ” said Rajan Shastri, an AAP volunteer.

Nayana, a graduate research student at the Political Science Dept. of Mangalore University, Mr. Rashid Bolar, an AAP member at AAP DK’s Mangalore City Office were also present.
