Mangalore: A speeding lorry went over the right leg of a 26-year-old motorist after his two-wheeler was hit by a car. The incident took place near Surathkal bus stand on Sunday morning, September 14.

According to Mangalore Traffic north police, Asif, a resident of Surathkal was returning home from Panambur on a scooter. As he was trying to take a left turn towards Surathkal market, when a car reportedly dashed the scooter. As a result, Asif fell off and before he could move off the road, a lorry which was plying towards Udupi went over his right leg.
The right leg has completely damaged below the knee and is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
