Mangalore:  Sea Turtles which are considered to be  world endangered species , while one such sea turtle, weighing about 45 kg and which was said to be about 35 years old was found in an injured state at Kadappura beach  yesterday.

This turtle was rescued by Azeez, Faisal, Riyaz, Ashraf, Fayaz and few  others , who later on  informed the forest department.Forest officer Vinod along with his team have taken the possession of the sea turtle.later it will be taken to Neeleshwar and will be handed over to a team which looks after the protection of the sea turtles.

Once the turtle has recovered from the injuries suffered it will be then released back into the sea, said one of the forest department official.
