Mangalore : Two  employees at the Mangalore International Airport were injured  in lightning strike  on November 2, Saturday evening.

The injured Yogish and Raghavendra are loaders for Air India Express. It is learnt, lightning struck them while they were loading luggage into a Goa bound flight. They have sustained injuries on their legs and back and have been shifted to hospital.

The surprise rains accompanied by lightning, thunder and strong winds even  dismantled the roofing of a cracker stall injuring two girls at Kankanady.
