Udupi : The Malpe police and health officials who raided a private clinic at  Kemmannu in Paduthonse village on January 27, Monday following information that a fake lady doctor was practising there,  trapped her with the help of Health officials. But reports state that she has managed to flee.

According to the Malpe police officials, the accused Sapna Sakeer had been treating patients posing as an MBBS graduate from Davanagere Medical College. A case is registered based on a complaint by Dr Ramachandra Bairy, DHO at Malpe police station on Monday. The charges filed against her are under  IPC Sections 465, 468, 471 and 420.

In his complaint, DHO alleged that the accused  was cheating patients by posing  as an MBBS doctor.
