Mangalore: With an urge to secure justice in the Sowjanya rape and murder case, the Prajaprabhutva Vedike had organized a Padayatra “Kadri Manjunathanedege Namma Nadige” from Pangala to Mangalore. The Padayatra led by Sri Esha Vittaldasa Swamiji of Kemar Sandeepani Ashram commenced on January 26 from the residence of Sowjanya at Pangala and concluded at the Sri Manjunatheshwara Temple at Kadri in Mangalore on January 27, Monday.






Addressing the gathering after the culmination of the yatra at Kadri shrine, Sri Esha Vittaldas Swamiji of Kemar Sandeepani Ashram said that the government has failed to secure Justice to Sowjanya even after several protests.
Mahesh Shetty Timarody, District President of Prajaprabhutva Vedike also addressed the people and expressed dissatisfaction over the progress in the case. He also blamed the political parties as well as the government for the delay in securing justice in the case.
