Mangaluru: Rail Hoons, the international gang is infamous for destroying public property in foreign countries, specifically targeting the railway properties. Whether the Rail Hoons have spread their tentacles to India or it is the work of some cheap imitation of the ‘infamous’ gang, the Konkan Railway Corporation limited has directed the Railway Protection Force to probe into the incident of vandals defacing three coaches of Mangaluru-Madgaon Diesel Multiple Unit Train (70105), which left Mangaluru Central at 2.45 pm on Saturday, August 21.
Rail Hoons graffiti were seen spray painted on the exterior of the coaches and despite the coaches not having been damaged, the authorities have taken serious note of the incident.
It is said that the graffiti was noticed in Mangaluru after the train completed its journey from Madgoa. Nobody brought the matter to the notice of the authorities through the journey. Sources say that the mischief must have been carried out when the train remained parked in Madgoan.
The Railways is stunted as this is the fourth incident of the same kin in just a week- with the first having been reported in Thiruchirapalli Railway Yard, next at Shornur affecting five coaches and the third in Dhanbad-Alappuzha Express that arrived at Shoranur on August 19.
