Udupi: The Komu Souharda Vedike’s Udupi unit organized a press meet here on Tuesday January 21 to delineate the points of a report drafted by the fact-finding committee of the Vedike.

The committee has pointed out concerns with regards to corruption, misrule and instances of communal violence. They have prepared a detailed report delving on the issues and have compared the instances during the previous BJP government and the present Congress regime.
The state Secretary of Komu Souharda Vedike K L Ashok who spoke on the occasion alleged that political parties were trying to instigate violence in the communally sensitive coastal region. He also charged fundamentalist groups of both Muslim and Hindu communities of deliberately trying to create disharmony.
Ashok also expressed concern over the recent issues of communal violence, atrocities against youth and women and such other cases.
