Moodabidri: Khateeb M A Ibrahim of Hosangadi Jumma Majid died of heart attack on Monday, July 18.

Popularly known as ‘Khasimi Ustad’, 60-year-old Khateeb is survived by wife, four sons and a daughter.

Originally a resident of Narthikal in Venur, Ibrahim was residing at Gantalkatte Netthodi area. He was returning home after attending a wedding where he complained of chest pain. He was rushed to a private hospital in Moodabidri but did not recover.

He was serving at Mohiyuddin Jumma Masjid at Hosangadi since 35 years and has a large number of followers.
