Kerala CM Ummen Chandy to arrive in City on May 2

Mangalore, May 1:  Kerala CM Ummen Chandy will arrive in city on Thursday May 2, to partake in the campaign of Karnataka assembly elections, said Dakdshina Kannada District Congress Committee (DCC) acting president Ibrahim Kodijal.

Addressing the media persons at Congress office here on Wednesday May 1, Ibrahim said that CM Chandy will participate in a discussion meet with students at Sahodaya auditorium, Balmatta at 9.30am on Thursday May 2.  Later, he will hold a press meet at DCC election publicity office at Kadri, here, added Ibrahim.

CM Chandy will address Congress party activists meet at the election campaign office at B C Road, Bantwal legislative assembly constituency at 11.00am.  He will address a public meeting at Beltangady at 2.00pm on Thursday. 

CM Chandy will address a public meeting at Kadaba in Puttur taluk, at 4.00pm and at Deralakatte, here at 6.00pm and return to Kerala.  The state Congress and local leaders will be present at the occasion.

Kerala MP and Karnataka legislative assembly elections overseer P T Thomas, KPCC chief secretary Ivan D’Souza, former mayor Ashraf, U K Monu, Suresh, Ashish, Arshad Vorkady and others were present during the press meet.
