Bangalore, May 1: B S Yeddyurappa has deserted the BJP because he was fed up with the treatment of their both national and state leaders, said the former state minister Shobha Karandlaje.
Speaking during a discussion meet Shobha said that she joined KJP trusting the leadership of Yeddyurappa, said Shobha.
Shobha criticized BJP big bosses who cheated Yeddyurappa when he resigned to the post of CM related to illegal mining allegations that they promised to appoint him as BJP state president within twenty-four-hours.
In spite Yeddyurappa had gone to New Delhi 13 times to remind BJP big bosses of their promise, the state BJP leaders acted against that forced him to desert the party, added Shobha.
The several ministers including Bommai, Katti and Nirani motivated Yeddyurappa to launch a new political party, but backed-off later. Meanwhile, the voters will teach a good lesson to the BJP that has cheated Yeddyurappa.
Yeddyurappa was a king maker by appointing many ministers, while the elections will truly make him a king, stressed Shobha.
