A meeting was held at the Mangalore City Corporation office on Friday November 22, under the leadership of MLA JR Lobo to discuss measures to be taken to develop the only public swimming pool of the MCC at Mannagudda in Mangalore.

Addressing the officials, JR Lobo intended to ensure suitable protection to the swimmers at the pool. He also asked the authorities to install CCTV and security cameras.

In case of emergency, arrangements for oxygen facility must be rendered and security guards and life guards should always be on service, and strictly be on their given location during duty hours.

Although Sohan’s parents claim it to be a murder, safety measures and surveillance is a must.
