Mangaluru: MLA JR Lobo on Tuesday inspected the construction of slabs and bridge across a storm water drain, which is flowing near Pumpwell.

Mangalore City Corporation had handed over the work in February-end, with an estimated budget of Rs 50 lakh, a surplus fund from the Chief Minister’s Rs 100 crore special grant.

MLA, who inspected the work, was not happy with the ongoing pace. He directed the contractor to finish the work in two months saying he will inspect the spot again to see the progress.
