Child rape case: United Muslim Organisation demands medical report for parents

Mangaluru: In conncection with the alleged rape of a three and half year old child by the Mangalore One’s school driver about two months ago, the United Muslim Organisation, Dakshina Kannada has demanded that the a copy medical report on the sexual assault case on an LKG student by a school van driver must be given to the victim’s parents.

K Ashraf, addressing  a press conference on Monday in a press meet said that district administration must make sure that the medical report connected to the case is given to the parents of the victim as well, which is their right.

He alleged that the report submitted by the Committee formed by the district administration was fabricated. “The Committee’s report is incomplete and further, the statement of the victim’s mother has been misinterpreted and fabricated,” he said and added that the fact finding Committee formed by the organisation too had probed into the matter and there is sharp difference between their report and the report submitted by the district administration’s committee.

The organisation has warned of intense protest outside DC’s office and a state-wide protest by students if the report is not handed over to the parents of the victim within 10 days.
