Mangalore : A second PUC student of Little Flower College at Padmanoor, Kinnigoli met a watery grave when a mighty wave washed him away while he along with his friends were making merry at the Mallamar Beach near NITK, Suratkal on March 27, Thursday evening.

It has been gathered that Rajesh (17) had come to the beach along with his friends on completion of their II PUC final exams. Sources said he was accompanied by Akshay, Rahul and Pawan Shetty. The accident took place at around 5 pm.

Rajesh hails from Hubli and stays in a rented room near his college. His mother is said to be working in Bangalore. Search is on for Rajesh’s body.
