Kasargod : An incident wherein assailants hurled stones at the election campaign vehicle of BJP candidate K Surendran was reported from Padanna on March 25.

It is learnt, the assailants who came by a bike escaped after hurling stones. The window panes of the   vehicle on which Surendran was supposed to address the voters, was damaged.

The BJP election campaigning team was heading towards Udanoor from Pilikkod when the incident took place. The Yuva Morcha District Committee which strongly condemned the incident,  also took out a protest march under the leadership of District Yuva Morcha President PR Sunil.
