Mangalore: The International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR), working under the aegis of the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India will be holding a seminar on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) – Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation on Saturday March 29 at 6.30 pm at Court Complex.



Addressing the media at the District Court Office on March 27, Thursday, BV Prakash, Principal District and Sessions Judge, who is also the Member of ICADR, said the seminar will be held in collaboration with Mangalore Bar Association.
The seminar will be addressed by Justice N Kumar, Judge of High Court of Karnataka and Executive Chairman of ICADR, Regional Centre, Bengaluru. He will also deliver the key note address on ‘Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism’
BV Prakash, Principal District and Session Judge, Mangalore district will preside over the function. Ashok Ariga, President, Mangalore District Bar association will be the guest of honour.
The ICADR Headquarters is situated at New Delhi.The organization is established to promote, popularize and propagate alternative dispute resolution methods to facilitate early resolution of disputes and to reduce the burden of arrears in Courts.
