Harekala Hajabba already features in the Kannada text book of Davangere and Shimoga universities.
Vice-Chancellor T.C. Shivashankara Murthy, Chief Editor of Kannada textbooks Dr Abhaykumar and Member Dr Sathyaranarayana Mallipattana, Registrar Dr Yadapadithaya, Registrar (Evaluation) Dr B Narayana, Finance Officer Dr Pakeerappa and others were present at the meeting.
