Kundapur:  As part of the campaign, BJPya Nadige Janara Balige’ (BJP’s walk towards masses) former chief minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa addressed a  huge gathering at Vandse in Kundapur on February 12, Wednesday.

Yeddyurappa who will be contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha election from Shimoga constituency,  urged the people to support the party sincerely.Moreover, he answered questions with regard to Karnataka Janatha Party (KJP) and stated that the merger of BJP and KJP is a closed chapter and that he is not bothered about the candidates being fielded against him by any party.

He also clarified that his son, B Y Raghavendra, who represents Shimoga constituency at present, will shoulder organizational work.

Udupi District BJP President, Tingale Vikramarjun Hegde, Block president of the party, B M Sukumar Shetty, MP B Y Raghavendra, former MLAs Laxminarayan, Hartalu Halappa and Lalaji R Mendon, zilla panchayat vice president Mamata R Shetty, former district BJP president Udayakumar Shetty, and several BJP leaders were present.
