Mangalore: The Karnataka State Gram Panchayat Workers’ Union President Yadav Shetty highlighted the problems of the  workers serving  Panchayat Raj institutions  during a press meet at Hotel Woodlands on Friday February 14.

Shetty said that the workers of Gram Panchayats are not paid properly and there are various irregularities. He announced that a protest will be staged on Wednesday February 19 to put-forth the demands of the workers in front of the authorities.

Govinda, Vice President of the Union; Sanjay Prabhu and Ramanna, Joint Secretaries were present during the press meet.
