Sri Rama Sena activists burn V-Day cards

Mangalore: Sri Rama Sena Activists who opposed the celebrations of Valentine’s Day on February 14, Friday, expressed their anger by burning V-Day greeting cards in front of the Besant College in the city.

The protestors also shouted slogans against Valentine’s day. They alleged that Valentine’s Day celebration is  a Western culture  and said it offended Indian culture.

They also said they were burning the V-cards as a symbolic protest against  the celebrations.
