Mangalore: The DRI sleuths seized two kg of gold smuggled in from Dubai, at Mangalore International Airport late on Friday late night.
 
The arrested has been identified as Shameer Mohammed of Kasargod district. It is learnt that he had hid two gold bars in the dustbin of the toilet near the exit door.

Alerted, the sleuths arrested him. During the interrogation, Mohammed told the police that his role was limited to hiding the gold bars in the dustbin.

Investigation on involvement of other suspects is on, an official said.
