General meeting held to sort Town panchayat issues

Mulki: Several issues and complaints with regards to the same were raised in the Town panchayat general meeting held on Monday June 30 at panchayat hall.

Town panchayat Meenakshi M presided over the meeting.

The Opposition leader Vimala Poojary complained about the Mulki government hospital and alleged that there is lack of cleanliness in the hospital.

There is lack of staff, but we are trying solve the problem, assured the Superintendent Suresh Babu over the issue.

Member Shankaravva said that at K S Rao town there is a lot of drainage problem. Also concerned persons should soon dispose the garbage dumped in the city. Officials assured quick action against it.

Member Radhika Kotian complained about waste water entering the house at Karnadu from a nearby private firm. The officers assured that action will be taken against them soon.
