Bantwal : Leo D’Souza(55), husband of Jacintha D’Souza, a  member of Bantwal Town Municipal Council died of heart attack here on Monday June 30.

Soon after dropping children to school, he complained of chest pain and succumbed. Autorickshaw drivers of Melkar area wore black badges and observed Hartal as a mark of respect to the deceased fellow driver.

Most of the members of Municipality and several political leaders visited the house of deceased and paid their last respects.

Apart from his wife, Leo D’Souza  has left behind his two sons and large number of relatives and friends.
