Bantwal: Sri Keshavananda Bharathi Swamiji of Edneer Mutt has  said the  success of various schemes envisaged by the co-operative societies depend on the extent of trust and faith which customers repose in the societies.

He was speaking after inaugurating the Sri Lakshminarasimha Multi-purpose Co-operative Society Ltd at Manchikatte here on Monday June 30. Wishing success to the new co-operative society, the seer also symbolically released the Deposit Certificate.

 Fr Mathais Pereira, Parish Priest of Devamatha Church released the share certificates. Blessing the occasion, he said co-operative societies go a long way in fulfilling the financial needs of farmers as well as the general public.

Kayyur Narayana Bhat, Chief Promoter of the Co-operative Society said the Society was founded with the objective of helping all sections of the society.

T.G.Rajaram Bhat Director of SCDCC Bank, presided over the function and released NityaNidhi scheme. Sudarshan Jain, President of Bantwal Land Development Bank  was present among others.
