Four of family from Kasargod die in Riyadh road mishap

Kasargod: In a tragic accident, four members of a family lost  their lives at Mushail, about 60 km from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, on Sunday March 2. The family  hailed from Kubanoor near Uppala in Kasargod.

The family was on a Umrah pilgrimage to Mecca. The car in which they were travelling  hit a road divider killing the four including a one-year-old child on the spot.

The deceased family members have been identified as 63-year-old Arabi and his wife 52-year-old Ayeshabi along with their son, 32-year-old Abdul Latif. Latif’s son, one-year-old Lisaan also died in the accident.

However other family members who sustained injuries were 26-year-old Nisha, wife of Latif and a native of Mudipu, her children, Lasaan and Lihaan, as well as Nisha’s brother, Nissar have suffered grave injuries and are admitted into a local hospital.

The survivors were rushed to the hospital by the policemen. The identity of the deceased could be ascertained only after one of the injured Nissar gained consciousness on Monday March 3.

Abdul Latif, who lost his life in the accident, was working as manager in a Riyadh-based company for the last few years. He stayed with his family there since the past three years.
