Natl Technical Fest- MEDHA-2014 inaugurated at Shree Devi Institute

Mangalore: “MEDHA-2014” – A two-day  National Level Technical Fest organised by Shree Devi Institute of Technology  was inaugurated at the campus of the Institute at Kenjar on March 4, Tuesday. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel  inaugurated the fest by lighting the traditional lamp in the presence of Anand K, Vice-president of ‘Udayavani’,  A Sadananda Shetty, Chairman, Shree Devi Education Trust Chairman and other dignitaries.

In his presidential address Mangalore MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, “It is not only through education that a man becomes great. An educated individual must also contribute towards his nation. Today we need patriotic software engineers in the country who would rather than going abroad work towards uplifting own nation.”

Anand K released the College Newsletter on the occasion after which he said that the fest will enhance the knowledge of the students. Technology is rapid and must be used in the right way, he added.

 Shree Devi Education Trust Chairman  A Sadananda Shetty presided over the occasion. The welcome speech was delivered by Dr Dilip Kumar whereas the vote of thanks was given by Poornima Jantri. Gayathri and Kingston compered the event.

Medha-14 – a two day national level technical fest is one of the most spectacular events organized by the students of Sparkle – an Association of MCA, wherein there has been participation from more than 30 Colleges from all around the country. This year “MEDHA”   returned with all its glory with over 50 entries.
