Mangalore: The Institutions Day and The Graduation Ceremony-2014 were commemorated by Father Muller Charitable Institutions at the Father Muller Stadium, Kankanady here on Thursday March 13.

Dr V M Katoch, Secretary, Department of Health Research, Government of India, and Director General, Indian Council of Medical Research, was the chief guest on the occasion. Dr Anil K D’Cruz, Director, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, was the guest of honour. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, bishop of Mangalore diocese, and president, FMCI, presided over the occasion.

A total of 628 graduates from various branches of medical education were awarded graduation certificates followed by an oath ceremony. Achievers in various fields were also awarded and felicitated.

Dr V M Katoch along with Dr Anil D’Cruz addressed the gathering. The presidential address was given by Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza.

Fr Patrick Rodrigues, Director, Fr Ravi Rudoplh D’Sa, Administrator, Fr Richard Coelho, Administrator, Fr Vincent Saldanha, Fr Roshan Crasta, Assistant Administrator,  Dr J P Alva, Dean, Dr Shivaprasad K,  Sr Winifred D’Souza,   Jasmine Vas,   and Akhilesh P M, Principals of various institutions under Fr Muller Charitable Trust, were  also present during the occasion.

Fr Rudolph Ravi D’Sa delivered the vote of thanks. Entertainment programme by the students of the institution followed the formal ceremony.
