Karkala : The driver of a private bus allegedly assaulted a petrol bunk staff over a cell phone dispute.

The accused is Santhu alias Santosh of Sanoor. Santu who works as a driver of a bus from Ajekar had picked up a quarrel with Ramananda Nayak, a staff of a petrol bunk at Ajekar  for not returning the mobile phone and sim  of  Subrahmanya, who worked as a bus cleaner along with him.

The quarrel later resulted in a fist fighting when Santhu allegedly assaulted Ramananda Nayak. A complaint has been lodged in Ajekar police station.
