Sullia: Quoting number of lapses by the Congress led State government , MP Nalin Kumar said that the fall of the present government is imminent, as it has failed to protect the interests of farmers and officials in the state.
During the oath taking ceremony of the BJP’s Sullia unit office bearers he asked them to be prepared for the polls. More than 1250 farmers and efficient officials have committed suicide in the last 3 years. The State Chief Minister should seek the resignation of KJ George, senior minister in the government or the CM should resign on his own in the aftermath of DySP Ganapathi’s death.
Modi government has brought radical change
He said, under the Modi government the county has seen phenomenal progress whereas the previous Congress regime was like a ‘dreaming crane’. The Modi government has shown to the world that India can be a leader on the world stage based on its tough stance against terrorism and for introducing Yoga and Ayurveda to the ends of the world. Today, the world looks up to India and he urged the party workers to carry forward the achievements and the Central government programs to every door step.
The Central government has allotted 10,000 crores for road development works in the district and five highways are being upgraded to four lane highways. On a daily basis 18kms of new road is being laid and this proves the government’s resolve to accelerate progress, he emphasised.
Sullia MLA Angara on the occasion stressed the need for cohesion between the party seniors and cadres as the workers form the back bone of the party.
