Bantwal: In a mishap, an Eicher tempo transporting milk felt into a ravine while taking reverse near a petrol pump at Bantwal by-pass here on Friday November 29.

According to the sources the incident which took place around 12:30 pm, when the milk van was parked at the spot tired to take reverse and unfortunately lost control.

The 42-old-year driver Narayan started the van and while taking reverse, the gear got jammed and he lost control as it rolled down into the ravine.

Although the driver escaped with minor injuries but the tempo feel steep inside the ravine, the truck got completely damaged, Bantwal town police visited the spot and registered a case.
