Mangalore: An eminent paediatrician Dr A Shivaram Rai has been unanimously elected as the President of Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) DK Branch for 2014 at the Association’s Annual General Body Meeting held recently at Hotel Gold Finch, Mangalore.

He will acquire charge on January 23, 2014 at a function to be held at Eden Club, Mangalore whereas Dr Ashvij Shriyan has been elected as the secretary of the association.

The prestigious IAP comprises of about 150 life members.
