DK Autorickshaw Drivers Union demands public apology from Abhaya

Mangalore: With a demand for a public apology from the Minister for youth affairs, Abhaychandra Jain in the backdrop of the Mulki incident, the DK District Auto Rickshaw Drivers and Owners’ Union staged a protest on Wednesday January 1.

Addressing the protestors, Vishnumurthy, the Union President said it was not proper on the part of the minister to counter-act instead of listening to the grievances of the protestors patiently.

He urged the Chief Minister to immediately drop Abhayachandra from the cabinet and ask him to tender a public apology.

Assault victim Prashanth, Ashok Kumar, Mohammed Rifwan, Arun, Alias, Sunil Kumar Bajal, L T Suvarna and Mohammed Ansar and others participated in the protest.
