Belthangady: A youth lost his life after his two-wheeler collided with a lorry near Ujire during the early hours on Wednesday January 1.The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Shabeer from Belthangady.

Shabeer was on his way home after dropping a friend, when the lorry heading towards Belthangady hit his bike. Shabeer is learnt to have  suffer serious head injuries. He died on the spot.

He was working as a driver in a motor driving school. Belthangady police have registered a case.
