Madikeri : MP Vishwanath has made some efforts to bring an amicable solution to the confusion that persisted over the issue of making arrangements for the media during the Akhila Bharatha Kannada Sahitya Sammelan.

The MP tried to put an end to the rift that arose between the Media Committee as well as the Sammelan Reception Committee and District Administration by arranging for a Media Centre for the journalists from across the state, close by the college instead of near the main venue of the Sammelan.

The MP also held talks with Sammelan Reception Committee General Secretary TP Ramesh and Media Committee President Chinnaswami,  Convenors Manu Shenoy, BG Ananthashayana and other office bearers.

The Media Committee office bearers appealed to the MP to set up the  media centre behind the main venue and also make food arrangements for them at the same place.

MP Vishwanath later requested everyone  to settle differences and work for the success of the conference.
