Deepavali, Christmas fest: Railways to operate spl train between Mumbai and Mangaluru

Mangaluru: To clear extra rush of passengers during Deepavali and Christmas, Railways will operate special trains ‘Suvidha Special’ between Bandra (T) and Mangaluru Junction Railway stations. 

Train No. 82909 Bandra (T) – Mangaluru Jn. Suvidha Special will leave from Bandra (T) on October 22 and 29 and December 24 at around 11.55 pm and reach Mangaluru Jn. at 7.45 pm the next day. 

Trai no. 09009 Bandra (T) Mangaluru Jn. Special on special fare will leave from Bandra (T) at 11.55 pm on November 5 and 12 and reach Mangaluru Jn. at 7.45 pm the next day.

The train will have total 22 LHB coaches including one 2 Tier AC coach, four 3-Tier AC coaches, 11 sleeper coaches, one each pantry car and 2 generator car. 

Train No. 090D10 Mangaluru Jn. Bandra (T) Special on special fare will leave from Mangaluru Jn. At 11 pm on October 23, 30, November 6, 13, December 25 and January 1 and will reach Bandra (T) at 7.30 pm the next day. 

These trains will halt at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khde, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Swantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madagaon Jn, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki and Suratkal stations. 

Train No. 19260 Bhavnagar – Kochuveli Weekly Express (on Sundays) will be temporarily augmented with one AC 3-Tier Coach with effect from October 1 to 29. 

Train No. 19259 Kochuveli – Bhavnagar Weekly Express ( Journey common Thursdays scheduled to leave Kochuveli will be temporarily augmented with one AC 3 – Tier from October 3 to 31. 

Train No. 19578 Jamnagar Tirunelveli Bi0Weekly Express (on Fridays and Saturdays) will be temporarily augmented with one AC 3-Tier Coach with effect from October 4 to 26. 

Train No. 19577 Tirunelveli – Jamnagar Bi-Weekly Express (on Mondays and Tuesdays ) will be temporarily augmented with one AC 3 – Tier coach from October 7 to 29.
