DC resents tardy progress in works on Lady Goschen new block

Mangalore: The upcoming block at Lady Goschen Hospital was inspected by Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim on Saturday January 18.

During inspection, the DC learnt that the work was in a slow process and that with 11 months completing out of the given time frame of 18 months, only two out of the six floors were complete.

Krishna Shelters Pvt Ltd, the contractor company for the project,  while admitting that there was a delay attributed the same to technical issues and lack of funds.

Assuring that the bills will be cleared by January 22, A B Ibrahim instructed the contractor to finish the project by the end of this year and also to employee more manpower for the project

P P Upadhyaya, Managing Director, MRPL, New Mangalore Port Trust trustee Tejomaya, Dr Shakuntala, Superintendent of Lady Goschen Hospital and others were present.
