Damages and problems at various places , Lobo visits

Mangalore: Minor damages has been reported in various parts due to the impact of heavy and continues rain .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The MLA of Mangalore South Constituency, J R Lobo visited such different places in the city accompanied by the areas corporator, party leaders and workers.

A house owned by Vasanthi Nayak, a widow, who lives in this house with her two children in Kadevu of  Shivanagara, Alape Padil. The house has been partially damaged due to the impact of the landslides that took place behind the house yesterday night.

A want for a railway crossing was another major problem faced by the public in kandevu of Kanagudde. Nearly 100 houses have no proper road, in order to reach the main road, they need to cross the train, that will be always stationed near the Padil Railway Junction. J R Lobo spoke to the parked Master, who indeed urged Lobo to discuss this issue with Dasan, the area manager of Managlore Railways. Lobo promised the public to do the needful at the earliest.

He later paid visit to the Kulshekar to Kannagudde, Saripalla Road, via Suryanagara, Kalai, Kandevu, Nooji, Umikan, that has been completed damaged.

Tresspassers are facing a lot of problems due to the impact of the major pits on the road. The road comes under the railway limits and they are not developing it, neither allowing the Corporation or the state government. This is a mojor problem that has been faced from a long meet. This road is a prime connection to more than 2000 houses.

He also visited a house that has been completely damaged due to the heavy rains in Suterpete, Valencia. The house belongs to Umavathi, Savitha and Ganesh. Umavathi has incurred minior injuries, due to the impact of the damge. He urged to Revenue Inspector to report a case of Total Damage and do the needful. He also urged Ganesh to give a written complaint to the concerned department in the City Corporation.

Regarding all the railway issues in the city, Lobo said that he would form a team and soon visit the South Railway Division in Palakkad and discuss the issue with the higher railway officials, at the earliest.

He was accompanied by corporators Prakash and Appilatha, leaders Dennis DSilva, T K Sudhir, Mohan Mendon, Krithin Kumar, revenue inspectors, Village Accountant, officials and others were present
