Mangaluru: A minor girl was allegedly molested by two of her cousins in Puttur here on Friday, April 1.

Shridhar and Rajesh are the two accused.

According to a complaint filed by the victim who hails from Bannur village, said that the two accused took her to a remote place and allegedly attempted to sexually assault her, when she was returning home after writing her SSLC examination.

Based on victim’s complaint, the police have registered a case against the duo under POCSO Act. The police have also launched a manhunt for the accused.
