Congressmen sacrificed their lives for nation, not BJP: Janardhan Poojari

Bantwal:  “It were the Congressmen who  fought for the nation’s freedom and sacrificed their lives, not the BJP or RSS men. Modi has done nothing for Karnataka or our district. The BJP instead of seeking vote for the party or its candidate, is asking people to vote for Modi,” said   B Janardhana Poojari, Congress candidate from DK constituency and former  union minister.

He was speaking at the valedictory of Samarasyakkagi Congress Nadige organised by the  party at BC Road on March 15, Saturday under the auspices of the  Panemangalore and Bantwal Block Congress Committees.  The Padayatra concluded at Vagga in Kavalapadur village.

“Unemployment is on the rise in Gujarat. Factories have closed, Farmers there have no security. Is this    your heaven?,” Poojari questioned Modi and alleged that the  BJP and RSS men were experts in proving a false as a truth.

DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai urged the people to  ensure the victory of B Janardhana Poojari who can be an effective voice of the coastal district in the Parliament.

Health Minister UT Khader also spoke on the occasion. Party leaders Ivan D’Souza,  Ibrahim Kodijal, Sadashiva Ullal, Hemanath Shetty, Kanachur Monu, Chandraprakash Shetty,  MS Mohammad, Mamatha Gatti, Harikrishna Bantwal, Padmashekhar Jain, Jinaraj Ariga and others were present.
